methods in the retrieval of submerged evidence and its potential use in a court room.

Which program an IANTD Contaminated Water Specialist Instructor can teach?

  • IANTD Contaminated Water Specialist Diver plus any other program previously qualified to teach.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • Being a police officer, firefighter or working directly with a public safety team.
  • Must be qualified as an:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Open Water Instructor or higher.
    2. Must be qualified as an IANTD Public Safety Diver or equivalent for 1 year.
  • Dive Experience
    • Must have completed 100 logged dives as a PSD Diver in operational or training situations.
    • Must proof a minimum of 50 contaminated water dives.

What is the minimum materials requirements?

  • IANTD Public Safety Instructor Kit.

International Association of Nitrox Divers, IAND, was formed in 1985 in response to the needs of the diving public. Up until that time, mixed gas diving and the use of decompression gasses was limited, in a formal way, to military and commercial divers.
