IAND, Inc./IANTD announces the appointment of Reverend Patti Schaeffer Mount, M.S. as CEO effective October 1, 2006.
Patti was the President of the International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers effective as of November 21, 1996. As General Manager Patti had been mainly responsible for the explosive growth that IANTD has enjoyed over the last seven years, a trend that is likely to continue. More recently on February 10, 1998 Patti became a full member of the IANTD Board of Directors. In her new capacity she will be responsible for positioning IANTD to be the leader in all levels of Scuba Diver Education.
IANTD announces the immediate availability of their new Recreational Trimix, Advanced Recreational Trimix and Normoxic Trimix level of Diver program. It is offered by all qualified IANTD Trimix Instructors. This course features training at depth without some of the more commonly known risks associated with diving deep on air.
IANTD announced the publication of their newest text books Tek Lite, Tek CCR, 2006 Nitrox Diver Manual plus many other updated manuals! The Technical Encyclopedia, was introduced in June 1998 along with the Technical Diver Workbook, Trimix Diver Workbook and Beneath A Crystal Ceiling - Complete Guide to Ice Diving. Already this year IANTD has edited the Nitrox Diver program and the associated course materials. It currently includes all of the latest in Dive Tables technology and international research has to offer while diving 21% to 40% Nitrox. Tables are currently available through IANTD in all Diver levels and gas mixtures which can be seen in the products catalogue on this website.
